Challenge Based Innovation FOR AI

This project is organized in partnership with CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) with the explicit goal to link CERN science and expertise to addressing societal challenges linked to Artificial Intelligence. At the beginning of I2P you'll be free to choose between this track or TeSI. Note that the schedule is subject to change.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Kick-off Intensive Week

22 to 24 April (16:30-21h)

What: This is the first I2P-CBI4AI activity and everyone is expected to attend. During these days you will learn about your challenge, meet your team, attend some lectures and most importantly, work towards drafting a first solution that you'll present at the end of the week.

Where: IED Campus Barcelona, ESADE Fusion Point Sant Cugat

Trip to CERN Ideasquare

30 April to 3 May

What: You'll travel to CERN to discuss and present your ideas with top scientists. Funding comes from UE Attract program.

Where: CERN, Switzerland

Coaching Sessions

8 May, 22 May (18:30-21h)

What: Your team will meet coaches that will guide you through your challenge, technical and design coaching sessions will be also scheduled depending on the projects needs.

Where: Campus Nord UPC Barcelona, ESADE Fusion Point Sant Cugat

Mid-Term Intensive Week

13 to 15 May (16:30 - 21h)

What: During this activity you'll continue to work with your team towards a first prototype of a solution of the challenge.

Closing Intensive Week

27 to 29 May (16:30 - 21h)

What: During the final week of the course your team will learn how to convey your ideas effectively and present your ideas to other students and the academic staff.
